4 Christ Mission's Jail ministry focuses on three regional Baja California Jails: La Mesa Jail in Tijuana, Hongo Jail and Ensenada Jail.

La Mesa jail in Tijuana, formerly known as the drug capital of all of Latin America, was one of the original places of ministry of 4 Christ Mission. For the past 15 years, the ministry of 4 Christ Mission has been growing within this jail with numerous stories of conversions and fruits of the gospel. Many of the staff of 4 Christ Mission have been past through this ministry and renewed by the Holy Spirit and now are an integral part of his kingdom building. 4 Christ Mission was recently recognized as one of the major factors in the turn around of atmosphere and life inside the jail.

The church in the La Mesa Jail serves as a place of worship for not only 4 Christ Mission but for any other Christian Church who visits the Jail. To stress the importance of the family, 4 Christ Mission has also established a family center where families of inmates could gather together and learn the importance of the family and become restored in order that they may be able to have a better transition upon leaving the jail. All of these forementioned programs are in conjunction with the restoration center projects going on San Telmo.

Field ministers and associate pastors currently make weekly visits and lead Bible studies on Tuesdays and Thursdays in La Mesa and El Hongo jails located in Tijuana, Mexico. In March 2005, we established a church within the La Mesa jail and a multipurpose center. The multipurpose center is used to bring inner healings for families of the convicts and job trainings for the inmates after their release. Through the mission centers, medicines and Bibles, warm clothes and foods in the winters, are distributed where they are needed on a regular basis. In addition, medical/dental doctors along with mission teams, consisting of 20-30 members each team, from local churches in the U.S., visit the mission centers and provide medical treatments along with the Gospl messages on an on-going basis. Going forward, the mission center will include forthcoming Ensenada jail among its ministries.

4 Christ Mission, as stated in our vision statement, is yearning to see God's kingdom be established through our ministry in all of Latin America.

Currently, outside of the US, we have churches and mission centers in various regions of Mexico and Panama. We are planning on using these God given resources in these countries to empower and train leaders to be sent out all over Latin America.
