CHRISTMAS TRIP

El Porvenir is a government-certified primary, secondary, and prepa (high) school located in the rural farming community of Heroés de Chapultepec (San Telmo) in Baja California, Mexico. Fifteen years ago, we began with a vision to raise up young leaders who would bring hope and transformation to their community. What started as a small primary school of 60 students in 2008 has now grown into a thriving school serving over 300 students from grades 1–11.

Before El Porvenir was established, many children in San Telmo were unable to continue their education due to the costs of uniforms, lunches, and school supplies—often working in the fields or staying home to care for siblings instead. Today, El Porvenir provides uniforms, meals, and school materials at low cost to remove barriers and ensure every child has the chance to learn and dream of a future in Christ.

Our annual San Telmo Christmas Gift Drive invites churches and friends to bless every student at El Porvenir with a Christmas gift. Each gift serves as a tangible reminder that Jesus sees them, loves them, and treasures their lives. As we serve this community, we continue to proclaim Christ’s hope in a place longing for light and restoration.
